YLTHIC MYTHOS
PRIEST HIERARCHICAL TITLES

While Ylthic Priests use the term "level" to denote skill and ability to summon spells from their Deity, they also have a strong hierarchy within each church. Below is the list of titles that are used for various layers of responsibility. Some Gods do not require as much structure as others, and thus will have the same title cover a broader range of potential responsibilities.

Reporting is directly from level down to the next level up, and promotions are based both on level and talent or relationships. However, while it is possible to find a situation where a Priest of higher level is reporting to one of lower level, it is unusual. In most cases level is given more clout in promotions than one's raw talent or who one's mother or father might be.
