Our present Era begins with the Viphor Dominion Years, but there is much debate by the experts over the merit of this title. Given the burst of Human state-building shortly after the end of the Yetdark, there are several contenders for the most influential over this Age. To name but two others, one would certainly include the Palm Kingdom (precursor to today's Magedom of Dalmask) and the Arsoshi Union.
Obviously this Era has not yet ended, and it is premature to say with certainty what the future holds. For the time, most Sages agree that the Magedom of Dalmask holds the preeminent position in Human influence today.
