LYSTURGE: As the creator and preeminent God, it would be unseemly and unbalancing to intervene overmuch. There is an order and balance to be maintained, and it must be deeply pondered for it is not clear, but so long as the scales are not critically threatened, then further patience is likely warranted. Subtle influence, wise words or quiet aid are more often effective in the eternal battle against evil than sheer might of arms. Understanding the way and the law in the world of the living is laudable, for only in the afterlife will the faithful be shown the ultimate truths.

M | Intermediate | C(N)G | Braccios | Barachos | "Lord of the Revels" and "Forgeter of Sorrows" and "The Golden God" |
BRACCIOS: He is a God of joy and celebration, so those who best experience joy and celebrate their happiness are best worshipping their God. What sorrows you have are best forgotten (some might say "drowned"), and prepare for the afterlife of endless pleasures. Enjoy your stay here on the mortal plane as best you can, for those who do most sincerely are those most loyal to their God and surest to receive his eternal welcome. His "Golden Glow" is tripartite: Indulgence (Revelry & the "glow" of Celebration and Forgetfulness & Oblivion), Wealth ("glow" of Gold & Fortune and Comfort & Ease) & Happiness (Ecstasy & Joy and Fellowship & Friends). Seize the day, be sure to live for the moment, and forgive trespasses if you can for anger blunts all celebrations.

SYPHIDE: The Goddess of balmed sorrows, and pity for those less fortunate. The easing of woes through mutual support and good deeds is what strengthens the giver, aids and enlightens the recipient and ultimately adds numbers and strength to the Goddess. She does not demand passivity or submission in the face of those who create sorrow, rather a prepared and indeed "active" response is encouraged if required. She cares not if the deeds are by an organized group or one person helping others: there's ample pain to ease.

M & F | Intermediate | LG(N) | Ashnus | Ashnais | "Lord of Toil" and "Fixer of Sorrows" |
ASHNUS: S/He knows that only preparation and action will ultimately ensure freedom and happiness for all. Problems are to be foreseen where possible, and (even) aggressively solved in any case. It is hard work looking out for each individual's rights, but the struggle and effort makes the God/Goddess stronger, and prepares the faithful for the hard work yet to come in the afterlife. That is not to say the faithful are unrewarded in the end, for to them will come the final gift of freedom and peace for all. In the final analysis, toil itself has its own rewards. Magic is to be regarded with suspicion as it is often in lieu of true toil and effort.

M | Intermediate | CE | Legoss | Lentigoss | "The Death Lord" and "Unspeakable King" |
LEGOSS: There will be another war between the Gods, and at the end, because of his willingness to do what- ever it takes to win, only Legoss will survive. Then will begin his final reign of chaos & terror, and only those who have served him well while alive will have any power or sway at all -- that is their reward for loyal servitude in life. Some of his most loyal servants will receive this boon even earlier and be allowed a "death undying" (immortality through undeath) to continue to further the God's will on Trishore. To this end all Legoss demands is utter loyalty and the regular sacrifice of new souls to fuel his army of undead and underworld spirits.

M | Intermediate | LE | Nimer | Nimais | "God of Power" and "Lord of Ultimate Strength" |
NIMER: The God insists on his adherents making the most of their lives, even if it means climbing over loved ones to do so. At the same time, there is a strict hierarchy of stronger over weaker, so it follows that the gathering of strength is the ultimate worship of the God, as this allows the worshipper to rise in the world of the living -- and in their ability to please and serve the God in the afterlife. This strength need not be overt, but worshippers must not shirk from using their power over those below them if they need (or want) to.

F | Intermediate | NE | Printep | Printaip | "The Dark Slayer" and "Lord of Fear" |
PRINTEP: The greatest power is fear, and the ability to strike at the unarmored and exposed parts of one's enemies, no matter how strong (or weak) they might be. To have this power in the world of the living only adds power to the Goddess in the underworld, for all those that go there will then know to rightly fear her power there. Brazen power and gross displays only speak to weakness and insecurity -- true strength lies in subtlety and mercilessness. To have power and fear to use it is no power at all. The Goddess demands no mercy, and a complete lack of remorse. For the faithful there awaits an afterlife of eternal obedience to the Goddess and power over the faithless. |
