Weave magic is normally gained through study, memorization and rote, often associated with spellbooks, scrolls and so forth. It may also involve
strange motions, unusual ingredients or materials, and/or chants, songs or words. All of this is done to bind or gather the weave into particular
knots or patterns which manifest as spell effects. However, it is not necessarily an act that comes naturally to a would-be Mage or Sorcerer.
Rare is the self-taught magician, particularly one of any great power.
For a variety of reasons however, there are both wandering mages who may initiate the training process, or there are a variety of schools or colleges
which, usually for a fee, will help the aspiring and appropriately qualified student. Some of the more famous formal sources of tuition include The Scholia and
the College of the Brotherhood.
