Taxonomy
A method sages and other learned researchers into the natural world around us use to sort and organize all life, showing their relationships and origins. See Animal Classification.

Tears, Mountain of
The seventh tallest mountain on Seteria, the Mountain of Tears gets its name from a "coming of age" practice that some of the Ylthic youth in the lands of Shembys to the east are known to practice. Some of the more adventurous climb the summit of this 8385m tall mountain to prove their strength and bravery. Many fail, and over time their mothers have cried a "mountain of tears".

Tempet Covenant
A treaty signed by all of the Human Kindreds and most good Demi-humans in Synchos, 2821. This was at the end of the Mind Wars and decreed that the use of Psionics would be forever outlawed throughout Trishore.

Thralish
The Thralish language is the Mother Tongue, or root language, of the Burdue kindred languages.

Thrymice
An extremely rare magical element. It is fibrous, white and soft, with strong interactions with air and gravity when used in proper magical formulations. It is also extremely toxic if ingested or inhaled. All quantities are said to have been completely mined-out Trishore-wide, and is now commonly thought to merely a myth or legend.

Thunder Weed
A short-lived but prolific plant, it is found in Pine Forests across Trishore. Its lifespan is but a day or two, growing rapidly after a heavy rainfall or thunderstorm, usually after the soil has been dry for a while. Then, like a dandilion it shoots up stalks, in this case 4-5 with "puffs" of seeds which blow away. Then it dies.

Tillen
A small (max 60') tree, with a tapering profile like a fir-tree. However, this tree is deciduous. Its leaves are triangular and grow one each on long thin stems, and they turn bright yellow before they fall each Fall. It is not a common tree, but being adaptable and avoiding only harsh winters and torrid summers it can be found in a broad belt across Trishore between 30° N and 40° N. In late spring it produces many pale red, bell-shaped flowers with a beautiful scent and lots of pollen (much loved by bees, etc.), which later ripens into small (1/4") fruits with a tiny indigestible seed. The fruit is eaten by many types of birds, which explains its broad distribution. The wood is too coarse for use, but the green leaf stems produce copious smoke if burned. The smoke is particularly irritating to the eyes, but if inhaled it is a very mild hallucinogen, and even stronger as the tree gets older. This smoke is used in many temples to Syphide.

Tirzon Bay, Battle of
A classic example of surprise and "bringing the battle to your foe", on Volfos 23, 2782, PF the PO attacked the heart of their Fire Clan enemy. Over vast distances they coordinated a naval landing and Psionically-empowered teleport of key troops into the heart of a main Fire Clan staging area. It is said that the Fire Clan forces, with their backs to the salt flats and no where to flee, were slaughtered to the last person.

Trees, unique to Trishore
While most trees on Trishore are ones that you might be familiar with, there are dozens of unique species as well. These include: For more examples of such uniqueness, see the entry on Plants of Trishore as well.

Trials, the Western Kingdom
The Trials are a series of sporting and martial tests run in the Western Kingdom to assess and sort the abilities of their youth.
