- Balefire Forest
-
This forest is often compared to its southern cousin the Nightmist Forest, and based on this it comes across fairly well. It is dryer, and certainly more passable with less undergrowth and not so dense. the trees are different too, with elms, beeches and walnut trees found in many places where they are sometimes lumbered, and a smattering of maples and oaks throughout.
The westernmost arm of the forest, on the foothills of the Snowplume and Olumnecca Mountains, is even dryer still, and with the increasing altitude home to some pitch pines and red cedars as well. This particular area is thick with goblins, giant spiders and some wargs too. These upper slopes eventually rise to see snow every winter, and the confers predominate there.
The "main", or central, forest is as noted above and home to lawless humans, a surprising number of undead (some very powerful), and numerous ancient and run-down forts and towers.
The easternmost branch of the forest, once the ancient safe haven of Yondor, is perhaps the safest of all these woodlands, but little travelled nevertheless -- still functioning magical guards, wards, and deadly traps see to that. The other aspect of this eastern branch of note is that it is also home to Garone Fastbinder, Great Druid of the Circle of the Rising Sun. Those seeking him or his magical grove sometimes brave the dangers of long-gone Yondor in an effort to find him.
Each of these three branches of the forest (Western, central and eastern) have each received their own name from the locals. The western branch is called Peyerallyn, which in Ylthic means "little eyes forest". The main or central branch is called Gymarglyn, which is Ylthic for "forest of hills". And the eastern branch is known in Ylthic variously as Grunglyn, "verdant forest", or simply Yondorlyn, "forest of Yondor".

- Belecost
- "City of the Swamp": One of the most important centres in all of Trishore. A political, religious and mercantile
powerhouse. Not walled per se, but protected by major magics and the Wei Marsh itself. Population of 28,000 makes it one of the
larger cities in the world. Capital city of The Andron Kingdom.
- Bloodwood
- Similar to its northern cousin the Trembling Aspen, groups of Bloodwood are very pretty in any breeze, their long slender
silver leaves making the whole area shimmer with light. Preferring warmer climes (and only very mild winters), Bloodwood also
requires wet or frequently moist soil. It is this moisture which supports its copious sap, which is a rich red colour (hence
the tree's common name). It produces many small round brown nuts (called Bloodnuts) each Fall, which are edible, if somewhat
bitter. Gnomes love these trees, calling them "Gambolers", and eating the nuts as a paste made from the boiled
nuts. They spread this on bread with honey and call it "Gambol Bread".
- Braccios
- Also known as "The Goldean God", "Lord of the Revels", and "Forgeter of Sorrows", Braccios is the Intermediate God of Joy and Celebration in the Lysturgian Mythos.
- Bronze Age, Human
-
So named for the most common Human metallurgy during this Age. It blurs somewhat with the preceding Stone Age, but
is considered to run from 7,000 to 5,100 years ago. At this 7,000 year ago mark, the state of Knor formed an alliance with
the Dwarves of Thesk, providing them with a military advantage in their ongoing Migration Wars with
their Sapoy foes. By 6,500 years ago the Sapoy had been driven aside or destroyed in all but the far northern and
easternmost areas.
However, at this exact time the first of the the Ylthic races arrived on the eastern coastline in a rapid series
of migrations, bringing with them their unique customs, culture and numerous diseases to which the other Human races on the mainland had no natural defense.
Up to 65% of the Mantaten and Sapoy peoples died over the next 100 years. This effectively brought peace to the region, but only after the Ylthic peoples
had taken much of what had been the Sapoy refuge to the east (along the Niriod Gulf, forcing the scattered Sapoy in this easternmost refuge back over the
Dolomite Mountains), and created Mersey as their own Ylthic homeland.
There was a period of several hundred years where the races again built up their populations, but by 6,000 years ago the three races were to begin interacting again, this
time on a more equal footing. All three could boast thriving homelands and unique cultural practices, but each also had strong racially focused religions of equal
strength. As a sign of their newfound trust, to help cement the peace, and to take advantage of abundant natural resources (not to mention to stymie continued Ylthic
desires for expansion), Sapoy and Mantaten peoples founded Falgor 5,500 years ago.
These Human states would continue to grow and trade together, becoming stronger and more civilized for the next several hundred years. The next great event is
the arrival of the Gypsy Queens 5,100 years ago.

- Brugolem
-
The fifth tallest mountain on all of Seteria. If Mount Sibrur is the crown jewel of the Hillgarth Clans, then Brugolem
is their beating heart. Mapped, tunneled and mined since before Humans arrived, this peak in the Olumneca Mountains is a symbol of strength to all Dwarves. Its
very name, Brugolem, means "mighty fist" in dwarvish. It is known as Dwarvefast Mountain in common. It stands 8779m above sea level.
